The NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Ablekuma West constituency Rev. Kweku Addo was a special guest of the organisers of the 2024 Champions bowl wheelchair tennis event at the Accra Sports Stadium.
His presence was in recognition of his continued association with Persons with Disability over the years. This year’s Champions Bowl event was under the auspices of the Ghana Tennis Federation’s wheelchair section in collaboration with Zion Management (Africa) Ltd.
Speaking to the media at the event, Rev. Kweku Addo, who was accompanied by a disabled friend known as Sammy, urged disabled persons who are sports enthusiasts to actively participate in and relish the joy they derive from sporting activities of their choice.
He also pledged his commitment to ensure that a partnership is developed with the Dansoman Keep Fit Club and other suitable facilities to promote and support sports for the disabled.
The Parliamentary Candidate expressed his gratitude to the organisers for their laudable initiative.
