FOKA TV beats Majesty FM to win Super friendly Cup in East legon
Ghana’s online Television station FOKA TV on Friday 29th March 2024 managed to beat their Colleagues in the media from Majesty FM in a super Easter friendly Cup in Okponglo.
The Football match started exactly 4pm on the Okponglo Park in East legon with huge attendance rate.
Mr.Frank Owusu Kojo Asiamah CEO of FOKA TV and Nii mensah Osa the CEO of Majesty FM as part of strengthen the friendship and working relationship between FOKA TV and Majesty FM ,they organized a football match and a talent concert on friday and saturday .
FOKA TV team had played a 4-3-3 formation, Squatys (GK)
2kay, Bashman,Nana Amo,Egg Bone,Mr.Baaw,Slow Jay,Kiosk,SOS,tribal chief and foka GH (c) .
Forward Salifu Mamud aka SOS gave dominant FOKA TV – missing the likes of attacking talisman Ratty Bongo due to injury – a deserved advantage from the counter attack after Majesty FM’s defender were caught unaware in a circumstance gave them their first chance which was missed by Yakubu Mamud aka Kiosk
However, there were still plenty of positives to be taken by FOKA TV’s team who despite their numerical disadvantage saw their depleted and experimental side – battle bravely and push hard for the first goal.
FOKA TV’s CEO Mr.Frank Owusu Asiamah who was the team’s captain spurned a number of chances including a missed close-range header before Majesty FM’s Julius Owiafe rifled in the equalizer for Majesty FM to move the Match to Penalties.
Spirited FOKA TV won on penalties with 4 out of the 5 players scoring all from the spot .
FOKA TV will also be hosting Majesty FM in Achimota very soon for the return match.
